Make sure your Netgear extender is within range of your WiFi router and plugged into a power source before attempting to log in. Link your gadget to the WiFi network of the extender. "Mywifiext.net" or "192.168.1.250" should be entered in the address bar of an open web browser. Input your login credentials, which are usually "admin" and "password." Finish the Netgear Extender Setup by following the on-screen directions. Check for proper connectivity, try cleaning the cache in your browser, or use a different browser if the login doesn't work.
