I was just trying to find a shaving brush that would fit my holder when I first contacted WCS. I even provided a picture with the precise measurements they required. Zero reaction. The razor I later ordered from them was so mild that it would take me a week to get a close shave. I inquired as to what might be done (a refund, a more aggressive head, etc.). I was informed that used items are not eligible for refunds. Fine. What about the other choices, though? dead air once more. The West Coast is not where West Coast Shaving is located.
They are in North Carolina's Myrtle Beach. Owner Christine Koontz claims that client satisfaction is of the utmost importance, but she certainly doesn't demonstrate this by blatantly disregarding clients. WCS is awful.
Terrible Situation With the Ship
awful shipping context Although the company is located in California, drop shipping is carried out in South Carolina. Half of the items you receive are defective, including leaky bottles, outdated goods, and broken bottle caps. They seem to be using faulty goods in their work. Due to their poor delivery record, FedEx was specifically requested not to be used. Both shipments were stolen from my porch after the shipper refused both times. I was reimbursed. The second star is present solely for that reason.
extremely poor customer service
awfully poor customer service. I ordered something from Amazon, and after almost a month, I got the wrong thing. The representative insists that I received the right order when I submitted a return request, which was a blatant lie. Now that I'm attempting to contact them, no one is answering the phone, and after two days, the representative hasn't responded to my email. One of the worst instances of client service I've ever experienced.
Poor return policies will never enter me to make another purchase.
A shaving brush was ordered. When I opened the box, I discovered it was too large to hold shaving soap, so I got in touch with customer service to return it and get the proper one. Although the website claimed there was a 365-day return policy (nonsense), I was told to read the return policy after I opened the box, so it cannot be returned. For the first time, I ventured outside of my typical shopping routes through Nordstrom and other upscale retailers and paid the price. I will never buy from them again.
